Morning Surgeries start at 8:30am and afternoon surgeries at 2.00pm.  Appointments can be made by starting an eConsult, booking at reception, calling the surgery on 01598 753226 or via our online appointment booking system. Appointments are at ten minute intervals.

Telephone Advice
Sometimes a telephone call will avoid the need for a consultation. If you wish to speak to a doctor, please ask the receptionist to request that the doctor calls you back. It would be helpful if you could indicate the degree of urgency.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Anxiety and Depression

Talkworks are an organisation designed to work with people experiencing a mild to moderate mental health problem. We want to see people at an early opportunity in order to stop things getting more severe. We work with the following: depression, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, excessive worry, health anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias (dentists, animals etc), post-traumatic stress disorder, agoraphobia, people with long-term physical health conditions who are finding this is affecting their moor, stress, sleep problems and more. We offer support in a variety of ways including face-to-face, telephone, online and group work. We offer predominantly cognitive behavioural therapy (not counselling), but have other types of therapy available too depending on a person’s need. If someone isn’t sure they are bad enough it is much better to be seen for an assessment so we can help you decide and show you what we offer.
