Practice Accessibility

We are seeing a vast increase of calls coming in later in the day requesting appointments.  This is placing a great deal of pressure on both the Patient Services Team and the Doctors.  If you need assistance from a Doctor or Nurse please contact the surgery as early in the day as possible.  Our telephone lines open at 8am and the e-Consult service from our website is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be dealt with as soon as we can.   Any requests that come in after 10am may not be dealt with the same day.

Your request will be triaged by the Doctor and our Patient Services Team will get back to you with the outcome.  This may result in a telephone consultation, the request to come into the surgery to be seen, medication issued or advice given.

Please note these steps have been taken to maintain safety for both patients and staff and are following guidelines from NHS England.  We appreciate this may be frustrating for some.  However, please do not take this out on our staff.  They are there to help you as much as they can with very tight restrictions, increased workload and the loss of a Doctor.
